That is the real story:
The Pioneer:
It is a story that started at 1987. Our actual Genral Manager Mr. Hans Fritz had a Farm in Canada. At a fair in Toronto he saw for the first time a mobile sawmill. A sawmill on wheels in order to work the log at the same forest. No surprise that he took one mill back to Germany.
Suddenly he was cutting his own wood at his own forest. Afterwards he presented the mill at the biggest agricultural fair in Munich. Everyone wanted to have such a machine.
The developers:

The development:
Two mills were built in a week and the stiorms of the 90 made our delivery to be eight months. Because of a good communication with the first customer we could manufacture the machine always with a better quality.
Nine years we worked together with another company buliding the machines. In spring 1999 we decide to build ourselves the mills. Offices and factory where in two different locations. In December 1999 the hurricane Olthar visited the countries Austria, Switzerland and Germany wich increased the demand of sawmills once again. In the year 2000 we started planning with our new offices and factory, we wanted both to be together.

The Visionary:
Succes means teamjob. The succes of our company has several reasons and one of them are our customers experinces with the machine wich allows us to become always better. Each of our workers is part of our SERRA family. Each idea from the factory workers is always welcome in our engineering department as well as each customer idea. Family is a tradition and that is why he gaved his Son Johann Fritz, the possibilty to start in the company. Since 1994 Mr. Johann Fritz grew up with the company. Since 1998 he was doing pressure in oder to have SERRA ist own factory. Since then he works also as General Manager. The employees number grew up from 6 to 35.
